The second qualification stop of the season was held in blistering sun and -2 degrees in Funäsdalen`s perfect snowpark!

More than 30 riders had showed up to fight for the money, TTR points, loads of prizes and of course the Semi final spot in Piststilen by Rip Curl presented by Skullcandy - Ramundberget 27/4-2/5.

In theTTR 1-star snowboard event it was super high standard and we saw for ex sw Double back flips among other tech tricks. The judges with pro snowboarder Jonathan Nilsson as main judge had a hard time to pick the riders for the Final but in the end following 6 riders were picked to battle for the podium spots:

Blayze Bramwell, Mats Frisk, Nils Arvidsson, Anton Bilare, Matteus Lestage-König, Måns Hedberg

The riders in the final had 2 runs each to impress the judges and the one who impressed them the most with a super solid riding was Blayze Bramwell who took the 1st place. Blayze who also won Piststilen By Rip Curl Presented by Skullcandy in Ramundberget 2008 left Funäsdalen with 3000 SEK, a couple of fresh TTR points and a ticket to the Semi Finals in Ramundberget! Anton Bilare ended up in 2nd place and Matteus Lestage-König in 3rd. We also had the RIDE Snowboards Best Trick award and the winner in Funäsdalen was Nils Arvidsson who threw down a huge BS 720 Rodeo wich awarded him a brand new snowboard and boardbag from RIDE Snowboards.

We also had a couple of girls competing and they impressed the judges big time with sick riding on the big kickers! Alexandra Unger ended up in 1st place winning her spot into the semi finals in Ramundberget and in 2nd place was Julia Strand and in 3rd Ina Lidberg.

Monster Energy Ski Slopestyle

In the Monster Energy Ski Slopestyle the riders continued to display a great mix of technical tricks. The six riders who went thru to the finals was: Jesper Moen, Erik Lundgren, Måns Dons, Kristoffer Hedlöf, Didrik Thoren och Lucas Stål-Madison.

After the final with super high standard on the tricks it was Lucas Stål-Madison who took the first place and the semi final spot in Ramundberget there 6000 USD will be handed out to the winners. Erik Lundgren took the 2nd place in front of Jesper Moen in third.

Monster Energy supported the riders and the crew all day long with drinks and the top 3 in each class got super nice prizes from Skullcandy, Junkyard.se, Rip Curl and RIDE!

Thanks to Funäsdalsberget for a great set up! Now we will have a couple of days rest and will be back in Varingskollen(Norway on the 3rd of April and in Kläppen Ski resort(SWE) on the 10th of april. Stay tuned for more action!!!
