ASP Women’s World Tour Surfers Star In Nike 6.0 Surf Film "Leave A Message Please"
Women's surfing has been growing in leaps and bounds of late, both in popularity and performance levels. At this year's Roxy Pro Gold Coast media, men's competitors and the masses were floored by the level of the girl's surfing. It was only a matter of time before an all female surf film came out to show what they’re made of.
Nike 6.0 have just released their first foray into women's surf films, a 24 minute hi-fi, high energy, highly enjoyable movie called Leave A Message Please. Did we mention it's free? That's right it won't cost you anything but 5 minutes of download time and it's worth every second, Surfing Life Magazine describes it as "Modern Collective in a string bikini".
Laura Enever (North Narrabeen, AUS) ASP Women's World Tour rookie pulls into pumping P-Pass pits, current ASP Women's World Title front runner Carissa Moore (HAW) tows in at Jaws and Lakey Petersen (USA) punts up a storm. Forget what you think you know about women’s surfing, sit back, watch this movie and get amped.
"We all push each other when we're in the water together," Enever said. "Especially Lakey (Petersen) and Carissa (Moore), they're doing airs and other crazy radical stuff for girls to be doing. My message to the world is that girls surfing is changing, so get used to it."
You can download the movie for free here and you can watch the world's best female surfers compete live at next week's ASP 6-Star Swatch Girls Pro France from June 1 - 5.
