In the trip details you can write on a wall called "I am gone" using it as a short diary for your trip or to communicate with the other trip members. This text will be visible for your friends on your profile and in last activities on the front page. Once your trip starts an automated message appears that you left for your trip. When you come back another automated message will appear here saying that you are back.

You add a trip by going to your profile page. Hit the add trip button. Once you did so a new window will open up where you have to fill out different fields. The destination field you can only fill out if the destination you go to is listed as an existing spot in the Addicted To Ride database. Once you hit save your trip is created and visible in your my trips module that you can find on your top navigation.

In your profile you can find a button called "Add trip". Once you added a trip the trip can be found under "My trips". You can add as many trips as you like. You can show people where your trip will go to, how much it will cost and other details. Other people can request to join your trip. Basically you can add trips, invite people or accept people that want to go on your trip with you and plan your trip that way. Through the hotspots application you can see what is close to where your trip is going to.

Go to "My trips". Choose the trip you want to edit or delete from your list. In the trip detail page you will find a button called "Edit trip". Click it. In the new window you can change your trip fields. If you want to delete the trip hit "Remove trip" on the bottom. Check the Yes box off. Hit save after your changes.

You find other people's trips in their profile either on the bottom of the profile page or under "Username x's trips" on the left navigation in his or her profile. Click that to go to the list of the trips of that person. Choose the trip of interest. Once you are in the trip detail page you find a brown "Join the trip" button under the trip details. If you click it a window opens where you can formulate your request and send the message to the creator of the trip. Once you hit save the request is sent to the creator who can now accept your request or ignore it. You will receive a notification wether he or she accepted it or not.
